Alexander Harvie studied under Kelli Scott Kelley and Denyce Celentano at Louisiana State University receiving his bachelors in fine art in 2005. His work has been shown in many annual shows including Forum 35 Art Melt, Stabbed in the Art, The Surrealist Ball, & Art for Arts Sake. Numerous publications have written about Harvie, who was recently acclaimed in 225 Magazine House and Home Magazine. Part painter/part performer, Harvie paints live several times a year - most recently being Zoolu concert featuring Ghostland Observatoy and Manny Fresh, and the Happys 5k Run. He exhibits in several venues and galleries in the southern United States. Numerous private collectors throughout America (and one in Greece) have acquired his work. Alexander Harvie walks the fine line between realism and abstraction. He thrives to evoke feelings and imagination using a unique combination of texture, light, perspective, depth and stroke which sets his work completely apart in a trademark style that is Harvie and Harvie alone.
